'Footprints of our Fathers' is a short fictional drama film about a Wigton family during the First World War. The film was produced by NADT (North Allerdale Development Trust) as part of an exhibition project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The award winning heritage project involved a group of young people researching the effects the war had on the people of Wigton and from their research, a short film script was developed with Lyndsey Walker, who also directed the film. Wright Walker Productions provided post production services and delivery.
The film was screened at the Footprints of our Fathers WW1 Exhibition in July 2016 to mark the centenary of the Battle of the Somme.
